NOTICE OF EXTRA PRICE INCREASES FROM 1st April 2008

In line with its policy of complete transparency, LBOL regrets to inform its clientèle that, because of the continuing weakening of the UK Pound against the Euro (now 18.5% down since our pricing policies were fixed in 2005) we have had to place a surcharge on all prices based on euro prices until the situation improves.
Since our pricing policies were introduced in May 2005, the price of the euro had dropped from 66 pence to the euro to 74 pence to the euro (Jan 2008).  A surcharge of 10% was then placed on all supplies from the euro-zone from 1st January 2008. 

STERLING HAS SINCE DROPPED FURTHER TO 79pence (31-03-2008) ALL EURO PRICES HAVE SINCE 1ST APRIL 2008 BEEN INCREASED AUTOMATICALLY BY 5%: TO A TOTAL LBOL INCREASE OF 15% SINCE 1st JAN 2008

We apologise to our customers for this situation which is completely outside of our control: we will return to earlier pricing patterns when and if sterling returns to its earlier prices against the euro.

The surcharge does not affect carriage or UK publishers.
