Carriage Details
 

These carriage details apply to books and materials supplied to most addresses within the United Kingdom. 
 
There is a supplement of £3.00 to be added to where the maximum £5.50 carriage charge is applicable: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly etc and Channel Islands.  If you require further details of these and for other carriage details outside of UK, please contact us

  • No minimum order value
  •  Flat rate charges per order:
               1-4 items: £4.00
                5+ items: £5.50
    ( For those items and offers where P&P is included in the quoted price, 
    the highest quoted charge only will be charged if further items are ordered at the same time)

  •  Carriage is by next day DHL or First Class Royal Mail

  •  Where the postage cost on items sent by mail is less than the
     carriage charges above, postage will be charged at cost.

  •  Where applicable, VAT is included in the above charges.

  •   So that we can offer a high speed service for orders large and small, carriage is charged according to the number of items in your order.  This carriage charge is added to your order after your discount has been applied: generous and accumulative loyalty discounts will help to push back your carriage costs. 

  •   Should the actual postage cost be less than £4.00 (1-4) or £5.50 (5+ items), then the lesser public UK postage cost itself will be charged.                           

  •   Carriage charges are fixed per order on the number of items ordered independent of whether all items ordered are delivered in a single or multiple shipment.  Quoted carriage charges for an order will allow up to a maximum of two separate deliveries.

  •   It is our policy to despatch items as soon as possible: in a large order this could lead to many deliveries as items are received from different suppliers - in the case of more than two deliveries being required for a single order we will consult with the customer.

  •   If your order has not arrived within the time advised, we ask you to contact LBOL by phone or email and we will track via DHL what has happened and advise you.  

  •   All carriage and prices quoted are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and our invoice details any VAT and serves as a VAT receipt.

  •   PLEASE NOTE: Scottish Highlands and Islands means all addresses within the postcode areas beginning with PH19-44; PH49-50; IV; KW; PA20-88; ZE; KA27+KA28; HS.  Please contact us for special details for delivery to addresses within these postcodes.  An additional 48 hours should be allowed for these deliveries.
